The Old Village Fornbyn has been situated next to Västergötland’s museum for over a hundred years. On two occasions this summer the museum invites you to an open tour. As one of Sweden’s oldest open air museums, Fornbyn constitutes an environment where the winds of history are felt particularly strong. Join us as our guide share the story of poorhouses, bell towers and saw mills. We also invite you inside some of the centuries old cottages and we finish the tour in the beautiful 17th century church from Härjevad.
